WE CAN'T DO IT ALONE

“If you want a miracle, be one.” –Bruce Almighty

“I need help. I can’t make it alone.” This is Robert Schuler’s interpretation of, “Blessed are the poor in spirit.” I’ve always liked that interpretation, a sense of helpless dependence upon God. This ministry has been a journey into helpless dependence upon God for me.

I believe God has called me to achieve every one of our four vision statements. What God taught me this month is that He hasn’t called me to do it alone.

We are a family. God has placed us in community to love, support, encourage and assist each other. I am thankful for the many who have called, written, or e-mailed to encourage, inspire or just to talk.

It’s exciting to watch God work. It is also humbling. When I walk in His call, in complete surrender to His purpose, I stand in awe before Him with a sense of absolute helplessness. What a great place to be, for when we are truly helpless before Him the Kingdom is given to us.

More Local Groups

The site is growing; the Local Groups section is growing. I believe Christian Goths want to come out of cyber space and into each other’s arms. I believe in each group listed in our section and in all of those that may never list but are no less hungry for the love and support of each other. If you get a moment, why not drop some of our new group leaders a line and say, “thank you for hearing and obeying the voice of God.”

For Kyrsten

Please read the article “For Kyrsten” submitted by Jason “theSaj.” I hope it will touch you and spur you on to action as it did me.
