I hope you are all doing fine.
First of all, allow me to introduce myself…

My name is Junior. I am 26 years old. I’ve been a Christian since 2004. I am an active member of a Christian ministry in the city where I live, here in Brazil (www.miliciavitoria.com).   

The reason for writing this e-mail is: I’ve been to the U.S.A twice and this year I am returning in order to carry on my post-graduate studies.

During the time I spent in NH I attended service at a local Assembly of God in Lincoln. I am not sure about the place I am going this year, but one thing I am sure of: I want to continue working for God and helping the one who are still lost in the hopeless darkness...

I just came back from the “S8” national congress. It is a congress that happens every year in Brazil intended to join the Christian Underground Ministries from all over the country. We usually spend two days together, praying, sharing strategies God has been giving us in order to reach the ones who haven’t had a chance to hear of His salvation and hope.

Although most people in the congress are Christians, we let anyone who is curious about it come to it. The great thing about it is that most people, who go to the congress just for fun, surrender their lives to Jesus due to the amazing presence of God manifested through the preaching, concerts and worship.

I have to say that this year’s congress was the best.

Just for you to have an idea, during a punk-rock concert the lights went off (total blackout). At this moment, one of the pastors asked for silence and asked who wanted to take Jesus as the only savior and Christ.

About 10 people raised their hands!

Many people were baptized with the Holy Spirit, people were healed, new missionaries came up… I have no words to explain.
