THE ROSE PHANTOM'S STORY

was born in Carlsbad, New Mexico on March, 30, 1992.

When I was 8 months old my father left me and my Mom.

I never knew My Dad.

I moved to Lubbock, TX when I was 5 years old, and I was baptized when I was 6.

I was always Different from the other kids. I had a liking for ‘Dark’ Things.

When I was in 1st Grade, During Halloween My Teacher was talking about Ghosts and I stood up in the middle of class and said in this little kid voice, “Ghosts aren’t real, The only Real ghost is the Holy Ghost.”

All of the kids Laughed at me but the Teacher thought it was cool.

My Dad lives in Arizona , and when I was 6 we went to visit him. That was the first and last time I would see my Dad. When I was 11 My Mom Re-Married. Then My mom Gave Birth to My wonderful Sister. Well it turns out that my sister’s dad would do the same thing My Dad did to me. He Left Me, My Mom, and Sadly My Sister. The Damage, Though, was a lot worse than what my Dad did.

The Night before My Sister’s Dad Left, I told Him, “I don’t want My Sister to End up like me, I don’t want her to Grow up without a Father.”

He told me that he would never Leave.

But the next Morning He left. I was So Depressed after that. Not only did My Dad leave me, But My Sister’s Dad Left as well. After He Left, I got into Cutting and I started to Backslide.

The Devil was really attacking me.

Then, a few months ago, at my Church Camp I re-dedicated my life to Christ.

For a while I was clean then a few months after I started Cutting again But a few days ago I gave it up and Re-dedicated my Life to Christ again!

My Goth Story:

I Started getting into the Goth Scene at the End of 7th Grade. (I’m in 9th now).

I was always different from The other kids. I have had my Fair Share of Names such as Satanist, and Warlock. One time some college guys called me a Satanist and a Devil-Worshiper and I told them That I love Jesus Christ with all my Heart. They looked at me with big eyes then said in an Ashamed tone “Oh, I’m Sorry. That’s cool that you’re a Christian.”

I told them that it was alright. I also remember when I was 4 my Uncle took me to see The 20th Anniversary of Star Wars in Theatres. When the Movie was over I kept telling him “I like that Big, Black guy!” Then my Uncle told me “His Name is Darth Vader” and since then I have always liked Darth Vader.

My Favorite Super Hero at the time was Superman but slowly he faded away and my new favorite Hero was Batman. I always had this thing for “Big, Black Guys.”

When I went to see my dad when I was 6 That was probably my First encounter with a True Goth.

I’ll never forget the things in my Dad’s House. The Walls were Painted Black, He Had “Demon Skulls” and he has these Victorian Looking Candle holders. He was very Gothic. He too Loved Darth Vader and Had a Love for Black. It took me years to realize that My Dad was Gothic.

I can’t remember how I got into it.

I do Remember that there was this Girl Named Bianca that was into the Gothic Scene. She was cool.
I think that’s what got me Started.

I started looking at Pictures of Goths, getting Ideas on how they dress. Then I Found Christiangoth.com which Later led me to GothicChristianity.com. I Started Wearing Tripp Bondage Pants, and Black Shirts. Then I found the Wonderful World of Do-It-Yourself (DIY). I started Making my own Clothes like Arm warmers, Bracelets, Gloves, and I just finished my First Pair of Camo Bondage Pants. My Uncle who took me to see Star Wars Gave me his old Pair of Combat boots (Originally for Hunting) and I turned them into Gothic Style Boots. I Put Screws and Nails in the Sole.

Well, There are my Stories. Sorry for the Grammar. I have a bad habit of Capitalizing Random Words & see I call it My “Random Capitalization Syndrome!” lol!

Well I hope to Meet you in Person in a few Years at one of the Gatherings.

God Bless,
- The Rose Phantom
